yeah im learning to drive and need to know this:

how do u start off from first gear cus as soon as i put it in first and release the clutch i stall it, its fucking gay sum1 help

You have to hold the clutch all the way down and after you shift don't let it go fast or else it'll turn off. Also let go of the gas when your shifting. Learning stick isn't very hard but as long as you don't let it turn off then your doing ok.

If its just lagging its probably because your releasing the clutch to fast. After you shift and your letting the clutch go you can use the gas.

nono i mean when your not moving at all. pulling away from first gear... i stall it.

i heard i need to find the clutches biting point or something.. then give it a little gass then slowly take foot off the clutch

ok thats what i needed to know, my dad probably told me to use the gas just to make me stall it so he could laugh, bastard... well ty anyway

If you still need an overview, you've gotta feel the clutch (when you shift gears), not just do it too fast.

hold on to the clutch until you're fully done with shifting gears, and dont press the gas pedal when you're doing it.

I love driving stick, auto is so boring. OK so put your left foot on the clutch and put it in gear. Now on the dash keep an eye on the RPM. Now Slowly let go of the clutch and you'll see the arrow slowly going down too. Now before the arrow hits 0 (that's when you stall) Start Accelerating. That's how i learned how to drive stick. To get a feel of the clutch, put the car in gear ( in first or reverse) and slowly let go of the clutch. The car well then start moving on it's own without accelerating. When you perfect that driving stick will be easy.

Let down, gear it, slowly let it up after, drive off. Never rush when letting up or down on the clutch. Problems start there... Trust me.
