Can anybody explain this?

Yeah, so a few minutes ago a I was bored, and walking around lumby on W5 saying "folo for a huge gigantic drop party", etc. And yes I was autotyping. (I was just gonna get a whole bunch of ppl to follow, then go somewhere in the middle of no-where and log-out or something)... Then a P-Mod PM'd me and said this:






"Diagnostic Run" - Was he full of crud?

 

Most likely, the only thing P mods and do is mute people and send priority reports to Jagex.

 

He was lying, probably just trying to act smart.

 

Might want to block your name, just incase.

 

tbh most player mods are sad nerds who need to score browny points with jagex so they have the slightest glimmer of hope at getting a job with jagex because they cant go anywhere else in life

You can't block messages from Player Moderators.

A buffer of everybody's chat history exists. How far back it goes depends on how busy the area is.

Player Moderators have a few more "report" functions than players do. One of these is to send more specific "snapshots" to Jagex. While P-Mods can't do anything except mute, their reports receive much higher priority.

Your worry isn't getting the level 4 account muted/banned. The main worry is if it gets associated with an IP that you've used for other accounts, meaning that those accounts also get flagged with whatever offense you did, so that if those accounts are reported for commiting an offense in the future, Jagex has a record of it for reference.

Tom is exactly correct. My account used to be a PMod, but I named a website on a "noob" account and switched back onto my PMod account and still got de-modded. Even though I did not commit the offence on my PMod account, my ip was tracked and they found me through exactly what tom posted. You're most likely in the clear, but it certainly is possible to get a ban on any account for an offence committed on a single ip.

Looking at his grammar and lack of typing skills. I would say he is full of it.
