I did say new mods shouldn't be doing pardons..unless you're Wortel and you have the evidence.. wortel no mod, so.. starting to believe they shouldn't do reports either . Although I don't understand why PM's aren't used anymore? Can someone explain this rule change to me.

That was put in around the time when skypes were getting hacked left and right with various exploits but they're a lot more rare now and that rule presumably ends up getting in the way of reports now when you're basically sure that it's a warranted ban. Ultimately even when the rule was in place majority of staff didn't follow it to the letter, myself included. It more so just existed to try and prompt people to trade safely.
