I have a lot of unique mechanics and bugs Ive found. Looking for like minded people to help me test some of the mechanics ive found. Looking to make a small discord with people interested in helping with testing. If you have your own bugs and mechanics to contribute that would be helpful.

Were you part of any bug abuse forums back in the day?
If so, what was your user handle? Mine was 'Moraki'
Also which forum would it of been? glitching.net, bugabuse.com, ezud, tainted-ones, tainted-ones when is was resold perhaps?
Most of the databases of the old forums have been sold ironically during their operation.
When exploits/glitches were becoming less profitable, a lot of the users turned towards recovering accounts for rares, as it
became more profitable.
Everyone kinda grew up since then. Kami used his bug abuse money to pay for the court case jagex pushed on him lol
arrow c is still doing music.
From what I can tell quint or maybe it was hej did some streaming in a 'twitch plays runescape' style format and worked on some HD runescape client
The plague doctor/zeb moved on to making a bunch of online services. Some phishing related and I think he owned
the runescape database lookup and OGusers.com or something, but later "sold it", most likely to defer responsibility.
Doomlord, roy and colin Have still been bug abusing within the past couple of years with pretty comparable success.
It seems some youtuber named 'rendi' pop'd up and leached a bunch of old stuff from the latter, but I don't really mind because of the nostalgia it brings in watching him do old glitches. I'm also not against him rekindling my passion for finding bugs and exploits every once in a while. The first 5-8 years there was so much drama in the scene from leakers and inter group betrayal, from how we approached preventing getting everything patched. I'm happy we got past that long ago, because it led to us teaching our skills 2-4 generations down the line.
I don't have as much interest in actively looking for stuff as I used to, as I kinda did everything already and they rarely add new mechanics to osrs. MAAAAN, rs3 was so good back in the day! Like at least 1 big update every single week, new mechanics to test bugs on every single time. Finding exploits was so fun. I miss it XD.

But yeah, I'd love to join a discord server of like minded people <3

 

I was not in any forums except for se7ensins forums. we had a tight bugging community. However we usually got most of our techniques from Hax Unit and svew, he was very prominent on there and our "leader" knew him irl. i did find many of my own as well. i was one of the first to learn how to smuggle dungeoneering items. would love to add you on discord and do some testing.

i just came back after a few years of break. im ready to get back in!
