call me noob but...

Can someone help me put that inventors banner in my sig?
Ive been trying to for a while now and everytime I put in in my sig it comes up as a web link,and everytime I put it in the url bar it says the file is too big.
I dont know much about the sigs (except free sig maker)so call me noob but I need help
