    You mean using the WebBrowser control? Most decent filters at school will have blocked access to them and not even let you place it in a form. Lol, if you like wanted the source you could get that by using an inet? But see if you can add a WebBrowser control than make a browser out of that.

    not sure if it would work, but you could make a function like this (brainstorm here):

    Code:
    Public Sub GoURL(url As String)
    Dim src As String
    src = inet1.OpenUrl(url)
    WebBrowser1.Navigate(url)
    End Sub
    that code should work with a few modifications i believe.

    How about you just ditch the idea? From what I know, people barely use the computer unless they direly need an assignment done ... accessing an irrelevant site to study can get you banned from the computers for a month or even a year at my school.

    You get home in a few hours anyway, so why? I've never understood it.

    Bypassing School Internet Filter?

    What if there's a deeper problem. At the school I just graduated from, they have a filtering system called "SmartFilter". and they block freaking everything, systematically. Just because a page is categorized as a game, proxy or even if it doesn't have a category, the freaking program will block the page: automatically with no prompting whatsoever with the moderators of the filtering service. It would make sense to create a program that would bypass the school's filtering system because of filters like these. Also if the teacher happens to pass and notices that you are off task and finds out that the page should already been blocked, then s/he will go into the computer's history and figure out which proxy you're using and have the Co. block that proxy = Problem still exists :(.

    Bypassing School Internet Filter?

    Mmmmm. Our computers at our school are monitored all the time... The server for the school creates video files of every thing we do and stores it. So if I bypass the filter through proxy they will know I done it... is there a way to stop the server side from monitoring a certain computer?

    By the our school computers you xp and novel clients

    Infect your school pc's with a RAT and then just remove all monitors for that day, you are bound to be unmonitored for at least 1 day. Also if they use NOD32 which is more of a joke than novell software, just crash it witn SYN packet floods and delete server logs, or you can always CTRL+alt+delete and end any process thats not setup by system.
