Bypassing EOC Trade Limit

As you all know, right now on EOC there is a trade limit for characters which have been created in the past ~2 years and have not been made members.

In the past, we had a method to avoid the trade limits:

Step 1: Find a safe place to drop trade

Step 2: The sender (person giving away the Gold) puts 1 GP on the ground.

Step 3: Right after dropping 1GP, drop the amount you really want to trade (100 Million GP for example)

Step 4: The piles combine and the receiver can pick up the pile despite the trade limits

I've heard from sources this method is patched. Are there any other methods that work for this atm?

 

I used to buy an expensive item and put it in the drop party chest in an empty world, but that was a long time ago, I have no idea if it still works.

 

What if you get killed by NPC in the wild? Can a player pick up cash pile or items? I'm not familiar with RS3 anymore or the graveyard stuff.

 

Or just buy a bond with the QATRABILLIONS of gp you have, lol.

 

600k lost per bond making it trad-able :s

 

what i do know is killing each other doesn't work, as it will turn anything into the cash limit.

 

I used this method. I bought an item that's worth under 25k. (Which is the trade limit) Then I bought that item for all my cash. Example maybe like adamant pl8's or something. And then just drop them all at the same place. (YOU CAN NOT DROP THEM NOTED) That's the method I use

 

You could take the guy with the cash to the wilderness and kill him, when he kills the guy with the cash, the cash is dropped and can be taken by the buyer, it used to work with me back in the good days.

 

Doesn't work with the f2p trade limit.

 

May I note, R2, you can try the wilderness with the 1GP Method, since items automatically show up. Might be quicker for any item under 25K. Goodluck.

 

I Believe as someone already mentioned a player can die to an NPC in the wild but must take no damage from any other player, test it out at green dragons with like 1k over the limit and let me know I have no characters to test with

 

If he was able to access greens he would be a member. Which would defeat the purpose of bypassing the limit.

 

I tried having someone drop-trade me 1b a few months ago, and this didn't work for us. Maybe he just picked it up though, so I guess I'm not that helpful .

 

I've RWT'd atleast 7B within the last 2 months and I haven't been banned. Maybe they only ban level 3's. 1 Bond = 5.8-7M....Which is like $1.50

 

For F2P though, go to a place nobody goes to (I go to a upstairs room in Burthorpe) with both accounts on the same world. After that, withdraw 2,000 on the account with all the money. Put the 2,000 coins on a table. Then, withdraw as many coins as you want on the same account that you withdrew 2,000 coins on. Put that on the same spot on the table, not on the 2,000 coins.

 

I don't think this works anymore.

 

This is the method most people used to use, but it is fixed. We need something new. Does Party Pete still announce to the entire game if you put over trade limit in the chest?
