This wouldn't happen, my friend's friend used to be a player mod, he let his friend log onto it to experience being a mod, within 2 days he has lost he mod privilages and was perminantly muted. Anyone who is a mod wouldn't be senseless and sell it as they could face very severe consequnces from Jagex Ltd.

 

Dukey, selling a Pmod account isn't that hard. You give the seller the details of
your house etc, notify Jagex that your moving countrys, house or state & the
buyer does not log for a week, buyer logs in then. But to buy/sell a Pmod
account, you would want a highly trusted seller & buyer.

I bought a pmod a few months ago off rsbot, now powerbot. I'm not gonna say how much I bought it for, but it wasn't cheap.

I bought it off a moderator, so I was pretty sure everything was going to go fine.

After a week of playing with it, jagex sent me a message, saying that the account was demodded basically because the ips were changed too fast.

Maybe a couple years ago, pmods could be easier to sell/buy, but now they monitor pmods more than regular players.

 

You and the previous owner simply made the mistake of not letting Jagex know that you were moving.
