I don't know where you got your "20% of mail being lost statistic", but it is completely wrong. As long as you're not sending like 1,000 dollars in the mail you should be fine.

 

i dunno if its 20% or 90% or 10% or 30% etc. all i know is sometimes i mail money in for membership(1 or 3 months subscib) and my money half the times gets lost. i even sended money to others house and rarely gets lost. but out of the 10-20 times i sended money through mail(1-30 bucks) like my mail got lost like 4 times
