You don't own the rights to the method used. You weren't the first person to do it, and you're being extremely pompous about protecting something that you don't have the rights to. Now I agree that selling your guide in its original form (without your permission) would be infringement. However, the idea behind it is not your personal intellectual property, regardless of what you believe. As I told you five minutes after I paid you $40 for this, I already was using this method pre-Grand Exchange.

Also, you've sold more than the 10 copies you said you would, so you really have no right to any consideration, especially from those who paid you upwards of $150 with the understanding that your guide was something exclusive (it isn't, it's been used by others since the game began) and that you would only sell 10 copies (also untrue).

I'm going to put an end to all of this nonsense and post my OWN Grand Exchange guide. If it happens to include the method that you used in your guide, then so be it. If I get banned from Sythe before I can post it, then there are other places to go to.

Also, you said you were done selling copies of this guide, so you really shouldn't have an objection to somebody posting a guide that includes this method. Of course those who paid for the guide will have reason to be unhappy, but since I've caught at least two people selling your guide as is (with no changes), I would imagine that there are ten or twenty more people also selling it right now. On top of that, it's appeared on several other forums in different forms. Since I paid for the guide ($40), I will supposedly be screwing myself as much as anybody else.

I'm tired of all the haughty bullshit going on, and I'm going to put an end to it, one way or the other. I'm going to wait one hour to give the mods a chance to notify me that they don't want my guide posted (or ban this account if they see fit), and then my guide goes up in this forum. If I can't post it here, it will go up everwhere else I can find.

 

Hey tom, I paid $80 for it. But surprisingly, I do not angry when you said you were gonna leak it. But truthfully, it will reduce the effectiveness of this method. Can I beg you to let me make a bit more money before you leak it? Cause no matter how many people know about this mathod and no matter how unsatisfied you are with Merchant, once you leak it, it will definitely die out as an effective method.
At least now, maybe 100 or so people know about it (from merchant's guide, although he promised only 10 people should know), but once it is leaked I bet at least 1000 people will know about it. Please I beg you to delay your intentions to leak.

 

I would estimate that about 2,000 people knew about this method (before I posted this), of which 200-300 use it regularly. You have to remember that millions of people play this game, 200,000 or so at a time. It isn't going to be ruined, because 95% of the people who read it are going to get discouraged and give up because they won't follow the directions correctly. You can still make money with the method. You just have to do a bit more thinking.

 

Heck.....I knew this method, i used this using Mage (t) sets pre-ge and made HUGE profits......
