the only decent thing on that account was the pvp title for HoM. I'm not saying he wasn't a scammer but there's no reason you couldn't get an account like his for around 50m realistically
 
Agreed, especially with GW1 going down the drain soon, and since people don't play anymore, they might as well sell them for RSGP -- something they do actually play.
