Bringing back RSC.

So is Jagex really gonna bring it back? I'd love them and forget about them fucking up RS2 if they did.

Any comments/thoughts?

If they bring it back it will be like a private server of which you can edit your own stats etc. (Unless I was misinformed)

 

They've been leaving hints on the RS forums and theres J-mods who have said new servers are coming out.

They may bring it back, but it will be retarded in every way imaginable.

 

Ive been trying to see how it fail, but i fail to see how it fail.

 

Imagine that everyone would be able to modify their items, skills, stats, whatever. Staking would be ruined, PvP would be ruined, questing would be ruined...It would basically be just an interactive tour which would fuck the true meaning of RSC in the butthole (true meaning being epicness).

TBH I hope they find a way to fuck over autoers on RSC, including myself. IF, they open it again. I just want it to be like it was in '02-'04, AKA Amazing.

I could give a fuck for RSC now. I barley even play. And, if you get on, almost everyone you see has a party hat. The economy on RSC is x10 worse then IRL USA economy. So even if it means everyone has to start at lvl 3, no items, anything, I'm happy. But, people are too lazy to care about the game they love and bot and ruin it for everyone else. Just like RWTers.

:S Anyways, I just want them to bring back the game I loved playing...

That's the whole point. There are cheat codes to change stats and spawn items on certain rented servers, so people can try out having all the stuff they want, then on other servers they have to work for their stuff.

Once a few good servers WITHOUT cheat codes have been established, there will be people who auto on them. But hopefully Jagex will be moderating closely, and I would assume that if you rent a server you will have the ability to ban people from your server.

 

I wish you would browse the RSOF before posting a mindless thread on here where nobody actually gives you an answer with a source...

If they do update it, they should just bring out new servers for the noobs, and leave the existing servers the same for the true people to Runescape classic, like myself and some of my friends. It would be stupid if EVERYONE who has it now, and who makes it, could just edit everything...

 

Read the article (link in my post above yours). They are keeping the servers separate.

 

Could you quote what you read about them bringing RSC back?

I really doubt they will, they've said many times that RS2 is their only focus.

It would be awesome if they brought it back, though.
