Is it safe to buy an account from playerauctions.com?
Can they recover the account? If they recover the account, do you get a refund?

 

You will most likely get a refund if you have enough proof.

 

Depends on the timeframe. Accounts can be recovered years after they are sold, using playerauctions won't protect you from that.

 

Its never safe buying an account because it can ALWAYS be recovered by the original owner.. with the money your thinking of buying an account with would equal to the membership time to bot on a new one.. but its time isn't it so you have to ask yourself would you rather wait and know its yours or get it instantly and have the chance of it getting taken away from you.

To put it bluntly, the site is irrelevant. As with Sythe, it's all about WHO you buy from, not HOW you buy. That's why with the accounts I've bought via PA (and Sythe), I've always tried to get to know the person I'm buying from to get a sense of how trustworthy they are. As a result, I've bought a near-maxed barrows pure and a low combat range pure from there and never had any problems.

 

Well the fact that you will receive the account is almost 100% guaranteed. Player auctions also offers a feature where you can get refunded easily,
As they have live chat support 24/7. Now, could the account be recovered afterwards? Yup, and there's nothing PA can do about it later on

 

You can get a refund but it's very unlikely seeing as it is very hard to provide proof (unless the scammer openly says he recovered the account). It has happened to me and the person I talked to on the live chat said I pretty much had to get the guy to admit it because I could just be lying to get a refund.

 

You will be scammed here easier, then at PA.

 

Accounts are always recoverable, just buy from the right people.

 

No matter where you make your purchase, the account can always be recovered. I have a pretty extensive guide on purchasing/selling accounts, I'll see if I can dig it up for you.. this should be in market discussion.

 

I use pa for buying and selling accs its pretty safe however acc can be recoverd but you will most likely get an refund from pa

 

I've bought/sold over 25 different accounts on player auctions, and never had any problems. Some accounts I bought years ago and they haven't been recovered.
IMO, sythe is way sketchier and much more likely place to get scammed, and at least on player auctions you have a decent chance of getting your money back.

 

PlayerAuctions has a better service if they are to recover, as if you can provide proof and they do it within 180 days (I think) you can get your cash back.

 

Playerauctions is one of the most reputable sites for gaming trades, however, it won't stop anyone from recovering an account, and by the time they recover it, I wouldn't be too sure as to how you would be able to refund the money.
