Isn't that overreacting a bit? He didn't know it was made exclusively for you. It doesn't have your name on it. Most avatars are taken from somewhere on the net.. He most likely just assumed you found it somewhere and he liked it too so used it.

Jesus Christ. At least ask him to take it off before you issue bans for that!

I agree. It's not like he was going around claiming rights to it, or that he made the graphic himself. Im sure if you asked him about it, he would have changed avatars.

 

It's your responsibility to make sure, and ask the user before using something they are using.

Just see it as using a signature, ripping is ripping.

 

I think its sorta harsh a month but I do think the person should have been asked first.

R2P's paypal was limited, resulting in his inability to pay for a while, but yes it has been paid now.

The ban was warranted according to the current rules. Although the banned user messaged me saying he didn't know it was specifically made for Eugene, he just thought he found it on the internet, etc.

Again it's warranted but if Eugene wants to give him a second shot, it would be kind.

Wow, I cannot believe this stupidity, He banned someone for usuing a avatar, That's not a reason to give someone a ban, Maybe a 24-hours or a week ban, but a whole month because he used a mod's avatar?

That's ridiculous, If this guy didn't use a mod's avatar. What would his punishment actually be? Ask yourself that.

I believe the answer would be, just ask him to change it. But since this mod feels free to abuse powers, I guess that's the way things are run.

 

No. I don't endorse an entire month-long ban over some stupid avatar issue. HeavenLord, you may remove his avatar (or have it removed by an Administrator) if it's someone else's, but, for the first offense, a month ban is too much. Warning should precede a ban.
