    okay, that helps a lot, cause i was mindboggled why it was still slow after upping my internet and having 4g RAM.

    BUT, my problem is, im running a laptop, and my dad is an IT manager/network administrator at two companies, and he seems to think that there might not be a card slot, and that it is built into my MB..
    I have an HP Pavilion, do you know if thats true? I don't wanna open it up unless I have to because I don't wanna ruin it somehow.

    i bought the cheapest alienware laptop and put 8gb ram in it and it runs WoW easily

    i ran a 25 man raid last night and still was sitting on 50 fps

    This is starting to confuse me...

    So basically if I get a nice intel core 2 duo say 2.2ghz or w.e and a good graphics card, im pretty much sweet? Ill still get 4gb ram. Also, would a 10000rpm HDD make much difference?

    this is my windows 7 stats not to bad for a mini laptop and runs WoW fine with no problems

    Buy a desktop. Trust me. If you can't buy a desktop, you're shit out of luck unless you're prepared to shell out $700 to play WoW.
