    From Syed~
He's utilizing a multi-billion dollar corporation that is leeching money off Australian residents, has a bad customer support, and he think's the company doesn't even get charged.

"THINKS". I really don't understand pinlines but if I am correct:

What if your right and the people who see these charges on their bills report it and don't get charged. Well then w/e

But what if an old lady doesn't realize she is secretly paying for someone to be a member on runescape?

Also, so it's alright to become a thief if you are stealing from a thief?

[5:44:16 PM] Syed: It's a line tester, it's not actually someones phone number from Australia.

^^ Dance puppets =) Just playing, I wish syed would get unbanned already to post =(

But interesting, learn something new each day. But that still doesn't justify why these certain people are unbanned while others at the same time of reports got banned.

But stealing is still stealing, is it not? If I steal from a rich guy, will I go to jail? Of course I would. Unless it is proven that they don't get charged, it's still stealing.

[6:02:36 PM] Syed: What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I don't see them complaining about this "pinline" issue.

This site is all about cash.. Its a RWT forum, most other forums that are similar to this one have tons of illegal activity. I've heard of sales on some other forums, similar to this one but for different games that sell Play Station Network cards for around $10 that have around a $25 value, which were somehow illegally obtained. Just an example. But i can't support this, i couldn't care less if this just stole money from jagex, but if its from random people in Australia that are making a honest living, then i completely think ********s are wrong.

Back on topic, Welcome to the Earth, were almost all decisions are biased. ( Still think its unfair though..)

    Proven guilty?

I guess someone could be trying to frame this E-Z trade guy, but the mods don't even seem to be looking into it since it was archived.

Your right why aren't they complaining about it?

In regards to "it's a line tester."

It grants you access to another person's phone line remotely. Play it out however you want, but it's stealing from somebody, and if the charges aren't disputed, the person who's line you were accessing is stuck with the bill. It's stealing from somebody, whether it be some grandma, Telstra, or Jagex. If you're one of those people who think they can justify stealing, I feel sorry for you. I'm rather sure you'd have to have low moral standards to justify stealing for profit (your own personal gain). So play it off like you're playing Robin Hood or some shit, but I'm pretty sure Robin Hood was never lining his own pockets.

Just as a note, think of it this way(if nobody is charged that is):

    A company makes some music

You pirate that music on torrents

That technically is stealing as you did NOT pay for the music, thus losing the company money.

I think you mean how are they obtained if they are illegal?

Well, nobody here is really a law expert, but this isn't a police bureau..we don't KNOW if they are legal or not.

That may be in question, but what isn't in question is whether or not this is stealing.

What's REALLY in question is why aren't these people banned?

No matter how people get their pins, I know for a fact
that they will always be need in the market. But IMO
using another person's phone line to buy pins is just plain
wrong and immoral, not to mention it won't even last long
once the owner recieves an abnormal phone bill -_-

I'm not sure why this issue hasn't been addressed any further by the staff - personally I can't really comment on the matter due to my lack of knowledge on all this Pinline business, but it does seem highly unusual that the reports got "swept under the rug" so to speak.
I'm going to make sure this is discussed in the Staff Lounge now.

EDIT: Let's also avoid turning this thread in to a Q&A about what Pinlines are and their use. Thanks :)
