Yes, its a very fast computer. You shouldn't have any graphical lag at all, though no computer can fix network lag so if that's your problem look elsewhere.

    *Budget - $500
    *Re-usable parts - Nope.
*Use - Botting, looking to run a max of 6 bots smoothly.
*Requests - No requests, just looking to run 6 bots and no have incredilbe lag/100% CPS usage.

Not sure if it could be done with $500. But do you think a laptop with 4 GB Ram would be able to run 6 bots? And also what Graphics card would oyu suggest? Like you did with the other guy, if you could link me to a product that would be great. Thanks alot, this is a nice thread you have.

I just need the no graphical lag features...

    Hauppage says it needs..

    • Processor Requirements (minimum): Dual core CPU 2.0GHz or faster
    • Graphics with 256MB memory (or greater)
    • Sound card
    • CD-ROM drive for installing the HD PVR software

I got this? And if more than this, by how much?

    ----

By the way, whats an OS and how much they cost?

OS is an operating system. (like vista, windows xp, windows 7, etc.)

    prices are like: http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=windows 7&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf

although you can torrent them (i just dunno what to do after, but a quick google can help)

Please do not discuss torrents here, it is against Sythe rules.

If you don't want to actually USE the computer while you bot, you might be able to do it with the laptop, otherwise its most likely not going to happen.

As what you primarily need is processor and ram to run bots, I'd suggest doing what I did when I bought my computer and go on ebay. If you don't want to do something like that however, I can try and build something for you.

Definitely not going to happen with a laptop, a desktop would be your best bet.

Okay, now with a desktop how much RAM would i need? Would 4GB be sufficient, or would i need 6GB? And if was going to use an Intel Core Processor would an i5 work?

OR even if you could find me a built desktop that would work?

For your budget, you'd be best to go with an AMD processor, and 6GB would probably be a good idea. If you want I'll build you one tomorrow, too tired tonight.

    Motherboard

    Processor

    Memory

    Video Card

    Case+Hard Drive+Power Supply

    Monitor

    CD/DVD Burner

    Total:$940

I'd suggest this for ANYONE looking for a computer in the $800 range, which this is not counting the monitor. If you want a computer for $1000 not including the monitor then throw in this bad boy here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150490

Great, thanks. I'll be sure to look into those SSDs, and maybe the touchscreen monitors. I'll check up on other PCs too. Thanks again.

Uhh, any idea on what kind of touchscreen those monitors are?

btw, I have that mouse :D

Hey there, would really appreciate some assistance putting together a desktop for the sole purposes of botting. I want to be able to run at least 6 bots simultaneously.

I've been looking at 6gb of ram at least. However I really need help with the processor. I also know virtually nothing about graphics/sound/whatever cards.

I can get by with a 500gb Hard drive just fine since I already have a 500gb external and a 640gb portable.

    Thanks for your help!
