yes someone that actually knows you dont need a 200$ mobo, or a k porcessor, or a 850w psu yay.

build looks fine, could go a cheaper case and save $20 thats about it though tbh.

Ye its pretty good 8gb for $70 something bucks that impressive but for a gaming PC you might want to get a bit higher. The video card it impressive for a gaming pc also other than the gigs the other things look like pretty good ad ons that type of games are we looking to play on this badboy.

8GB of ram is plenty. I have 12GB and I rarely get above 6 or 7 GB.

I'd recommend not getting one of those Seagates. I've had three of them fail recently, (and I've owned three). Get a WD and save some trouble.

8gb of ram is more than enough for that build lol.

    +1000000000000000

I've had two seagate external drives fail on me as well as an internal one in a build I did for a family member (luckily I had setup raid 1 setup) I suggest going with something other than seagate as well.

As far as your build goes it looks pretty solid, only thing you might want to consider is if you want a modular psu (personal preference for me). I don't know anything about that specific mobo but the build generally looks solid.

Orly? My teacher for Cisco actually said the complete opposite. From what I knew before I went to that course, WD was indeed 'the best', but he actually told me that the WD ones aren't as good quality, and that a Seagate would be better. I was like wtf, and now i'm even more wtf when I hear that they actually suck (that's what I had thought initially).

Anyways, the build does look good, just make sure everything will fit but as far as I can see it seems like it's good to go.

The current model of Seagate internal drives are known to fail a lot. They are cheap for a reason.

Western Digital is the way to go. You can see my near 10-year-old Caviar black in one of my threads that is still running strong after almost 24/7 use.

    ^^^^^

WDs are the shit. The only reason I use Seagate SSDs is because I get them for free from my father in law who works at Seagate.

Seagates aren't awful. It's just that the current models they have going have a terrible failure rate so I wouldn't recommend anyone buy them right now, even for a budget build.

    Edit: 11,000 posts.
