Account questing dispute ( need resolved )

I dont know where to post this, but i saw a similar thread posted in this section.

So i recently acquired the service of a sythe quester to get me 93 questpoints @ 600k/qp which came to 55.8m Gp http://www.sythe.org/members/450317-factory-new.html. Which has been given to the user http://www.sythe.org/members/405752-krillex.html to hold as the service is being completed.

Now here is where the problem arises and where i dont know what a fair compensation would be.

I ordered the quest points (93) in order to get barrows gloves on two conditions, the account would get a maximum of 45 defence, and a maximum of 16 prayer, which is reflected in the price.

I log into my account to find the account now has 20 prayer due to the quester completing the quest (mountain daughter). I believe i should get some sort of compensation, not only did the quester negligently complete the quest and gained me a combat level, but now in order for my account to be efficient i will have to get 31 prayer + full void, gaining me another combat level and hours of work or 10+M for someone to complete the service.

That is a total of 2 combat levels which i did not want, and i believe that the quester is largely at fault becuase he should have known the quest gains prayer experience, due to him being a sythe quester, it is expected of him to know, or atleast put in the effort to check the experience gained from the quest, due to the stakes being so high.

I just want some idea on the amount of compensation, as i dont want to be under-compensated and im sure the quester doesnt want to over-compensate me, so i leave it to the admins to decide.

Other information: So far he has completed quests totalling 14 quest points. But the service has stopped for now until we resolve this.

 

it's not like he's gone and gotten your account banned so a full refund seems way overkill, but he failed to complete his end of the agreement, so you should be entitled to *something*. why don't you work out something with him?

so what's the situation atm? you can also ask the mm for his point of view. if it were up to me i'd say that compensation is due in the amount of time his error cost you, which sounds like not much. you cant expect him to compensate you for full void for this. a handful of mil is reasonable imo.

 

This is where i stand. I asked for a specific service, i wanted 16 prayer and thats what i asked for, and the price i paid reflects it. Him questing it, after i had told him i didnt want any higher than 16 is not my fault at all, i built my whole account around keeping a low combat. I believe that the ruining of my account is worth more than a handful of mill. Now i have to get 31 prayer which is 2 more cb levels more than i intended on. When you pay 60m for a service you expect it to be done correctly, and if it is screwed up, i believe i deserve a large compensation.

You said compensation is due in the amount of time his error cost me, using that logic, i should be put into the position i was before this "accident" occured with my account 2 combats lower with the exact stats (this obviously isnt going to happen).

Therefore i dont think its unreasonable to ask for 15mill back.



Also, he is asleep right now and ill be asleep when he gets up, so hopefully we can work it out during the day, as for now we stand nowhere.

Not only is his behaviour crude, but has so care for the deal and continues to be offensive.
I no longer want him to quest on my account so i am demanding 6m from him, 10 qps x 600k/qp

that sounds reasonable to me. if he wants to counteroffer and make a reasonable case for why he owes you left, i'm happy to hear it. it's not really worth the effort getting tangled up in all of this imo; hopefully he can just pay you and move forwards

 

I will never give you 6M if you want your 10 QP's hit krillex up and he'll relay the message. And if you don't trust me than have a great day and I will make sure I never need to talk to you again. You flipped shit because i didn't do 10 Qp's the day I was supposed to be fucking gone to the beach. You have the choice Nothing or 10 Qp's.

 

By the way you are acting I'd rather not give you access to my account. I never "flipped shit". I never once demanded that you start at that very moment after we agreed on the 10, but was merely asking when you would complete it and you said you would not, i was willing to let you on my account previously but now it is not going to happen.

In other words, the world doesnt revolve around you. You didnt want to complete the 10 qps because you thought you could get away with it, and now that you noticed you cant you are willing to do it rather than pay 6m. Ive already organised a new quester and dont want to mess up the payments+ let you on my acc.

Id appreciate if someone can make him pay the 6m, but im not letting him on my account which i believe is reasonable.
