Have any of you guys ever had success accepting Gift Cards as payment?

I've been offered about five different Gift Cards now but declined them all. Was just wondering if any of you guys accept them and actually have no problem with them

 

It really depends on the source from where the GC comes in. If someone has obtained that GC from an illegal method/hacked account. It'll most likely be refunded.

 

I've accepted an amazon gift card before. There were no troubles.

 

i spoke with about 2-3 Amazon reps and they all said once it's successfully redeemed and into your account it can't be taken out again, i'm not sure if it's diff in your location or how that works but that's just what i've been told.

 

Amazon didn't give me any trouble, recieved 300$ in gift cards for it in the past.

 

Amazon and iTunes seemed to be the easiest since you can actually redeem them to your account with no troubles. It's the prepaid stuff that is a little bit harder since the person selling you the GC can still go back and use the card.

 

this is not true, i've redeemed gift cards and had the value removed from my balance

if you've been asked so many times, don't you think something suspicious is up? they're probably obtained quasi-legally at best
