tbh kinda rattled i wasn't able to buy 50m penny stocks.

 

Hmm... makes sense I guess I just have no clue what I'm doing so today was just a learning day <.<

well all my stocks crashed 30mins to closing *shrugs*

 

That's normal. Day traders make their final sales 30 mins before so that the sales process. This causes a mini dump and the stocks to crash a bit. This is also why a lot of stocks raise initially in the morning, as they're making their initial purchases.

 

Down 3k today. In the morning I was up ~1.5k then when I checked later in the day all my stock kept dropping

 

How did your first day go? Mine went better than expected. Only down a bit over 4k. Not bad

Market opened very high today, up over a 1%. Much of this because the market eased off as the fear of a brexit lowered substantially, polls showed. Declining issues outpaced advancing issues from that point forward and we saw a steady and gradual decline and people took their gains, and there is still uncertainty over brexit. The implicit bias towards the status quo may break the statistical tie the polls have been showing lately, and last week's assassination will likely have an impact as well.

 

Didn't get to trade today I missed it opening, tomorrow tho Watching some stocks at the moment and thinking about how i'm going to diversify the risk in my portfolio by how risky the stock is and how likely it is to fluctuate, and also trying to think of a way to not buy stocks from the same sort of sector. Don't wanna go for the generic mainstream retail stores etc. and wanna try get a few from the raw materials markets etc. Going to lose all my money I can foresee it

I accidentally bought stocks and it went over the amount of money I have...So how often is the 1% interest taken with the money i'm borrowing?

 

Messed it up because I didnt know exactly how the game works lol. Was up like 3k but then messed it up and didnt actually sell it. Still little less than 1k up though.

 

Was making profit at start, now I'm just down $11K from the starting point. Curious as to whether this is just a bad day, or picking the wrong stock, or just being absolutely brain dead.

It's only the start so I'll hopefully pick it back up. ... some how... lol

 

I would be careful trading UVXY. It's a very leveraged VIX futures ETF. If you want to learn about it though I can teach you - I trade it in real life quite often
