Price Check Thread Form

Hello Sythe community.

So we currently have had an issue that has been going on since I've been in names sales. People will comment on the price check thread with names like "I am numb1" and ask for a pc. If they actually read the sticky dunworry made they would already know it was worthless and it would avoid spam. I would like to enact a form to help clean up this thread.

Thought to the community on implementing a price check form that looks like this:

I know i get tired of typing "worthless" for all these names that are obviously worthless. Just trying to think of a way to better the pcing thread.

I think it would prevent unnecessary confusion in the section, it could be a good idea.

 

Support this idea Might not get rid of all of the posts of people who try to force a name to be 'rare' by giving forcing definitions and explanations, but will get rid of a good majority. Also, would look a lot cleaner with a uniform template which is easy to read.

 

Fairly good idea but I think you're missing the point that names are very personal and so to someone, the name "Im og" might mean a lot for several reasons such as "it was my first name" or "i've always wanted that one" when in reality it's worthless.

Also, in theory it's good, but would newcomers really click the link to read a wall of text? Absolutely not, they'd say they had read it when they really haven't and then post, to get the classic "worthless" as an answer.

 

I can see how personal worth can come into this, however, if they read the "is my name rare" thread this should tell them that their "prized name" is actually worthless.

And I agree with the 2nd paragraph, but this would @ least get the newcomers to go to that page and should filter some of them out. I don't think there is any perfect solution, but I do believe this would help.

 

I'll go ahead and offer my support, a lot of people are confused when it comes to rare names and this would help keeping the thread clean.

 

Support. There's no reason not to add a form to that thread.

 

Seems like a good idea as indeed the thread is a bit messy at this moment and even I would know some names are worthless. Could be an idea aswell to list all pricechecks of the names being requested there in the main post, but that's up for another suggestion.

 

Having pcs on main post I don't think would work as names fluctuate in prices.

For instance 2-3mo ago you could sell a higher 2digit like 86 for 250m 07 now you'd be lucky to get 150m

It's annoying to sift through all the "garbage" at times. Dunworry's sticky should be made a mandatory read.

 

Support. I know this also sounds rough, but we could ignore the posts that use the form saying they read the post and then ask for a price check on an obviously worthless name. It would allow us to implement the form and it wouldn't require that respond to every price check
