In this thread.
Yeah, so there's this girl I was dating for about five months.
Well we're sitting on the bus home, and well she took off the $70 Christmas necklace I got her, and... well I'm sure you know where it went from there. Threw it down as soon as I got off the bus. We dated for a while in the summer and had a speedbump, I didn't take it so bad, but now... It's really bad. I'm taking it really badly, and I don't want to move on, she didn't really give me a reason, same as the last time.

Anyways, should I really love her, and I'm really upset. Should I just move on or try to get her back again? Some help would be nice.

If your not happy you should move on. I'd take the necklace back and say good bye

Tell her how you feel, and find out how she feels. If it is something that you are doing, you need to reassure her that you wont do it again. If she makes it obvious her feelings are too strong to get back together, you need to find a good friend to spend time with.

Breakups are never easy, you just need to find your own ways to cope with it

Most people will probably tell you to move on and find a girl. I think you should just see what happens and wait. Talk to her still, but don't smother her. Give her the time and space she wants, and hopefully she'll get back together with you.

Nothing to do now but just wait, don't call her 24/7 or text her as she will get annoyed by you. Give her space but don't let her forget you completely. Also don't mope around no one likes a moper, shes going to feel guilty about the breakup. Also don't plead or be desperate, stalking is also a no no.

Break ups can be a great thing. Right now you are all caught up in the fact that you think you love her, etc. Fact is, it looks like she's an immature bitch. Tossing your necklace down and walking off the bus? Who does she think she is? She obviously has you under her control, so stop letting her treat you like a bitch.

Here's what you're gonna do. Realize she's not worth your time. You're a young man, get the hell out there and make something positive of this situation. Start working out, start trying new things. Use this break up as an inspiration to make yourself a better person. That way you will better yourself, and you won't be in this situation again. You'll be more in control, you'll be the one deciding when to break it off. You won't feel helpless.

I broke up with my GF of 3 years, and I felt like I had nothing left. My friends all became her friends, my life revolved around our relationship. For awhile I just felt sorry for myself, and mad at her / sad. Then I realized that all this negative energy could be harnessed towards positive things. If you do that in these situations, and trust me, you'll need to hate the bitch a little to truly take full advantage, you'll never fear a break up again.

Thanks for this advice, probably going to get a membership at my rec center this weekend. Also you have it a little wrong, I was pissed she actually gave me the necklace so when I got off the bus I just threw it down, not her.
