Branding my own computer

[teh 1337 pwner]

I remember reading a tut on here about branding your own computer
Well I built my own computer last month...but never seem to get around to finding a tut on it
Now that I actually try to look I can't find any tuts on how to do it

LOL

Seriously, any help?

Well, what do you mean "branding" your computer? You mean like how companies put their logos on the actual case?
In that situation, you'll need a light tracing of your logo on the case, and a dremel to cut the shape out of the case.

If you mean how computer vendors put their icons and programs on the copy of windows pre installed, you can't do that.

Be more specific, get more help.

You can do that. You can use a program called nLite that will put a picture and whatever text in your My Computer properties but you have to reinstall XP. If you are talking about having any picture you want when your computer starts up then that involves messing with your bios which if you mess up can completely screw your computer(Don't recommend unless you have a duel bios).

Hope that helps.
