Bounty Hunter Rwt, no pen?!

I haven't done bh xferring for ages, can anyone tell me if there are any ways currently to avoid getting the pen?

Does this work?
You kill the person that has no items on him, pick up his bones.
Wait 2 minutes of the penalty.
The person comes back with the sara plate, and you kill him.
You wait and don't pick it up till the pen runs out.
You pick it up and you get no pen.

Does this work? I heard it from someone.

 

Worked once before for me, but I wasn't rwt'ing.

I just happened to be on pen and kill someone.

 

sounds like it would work. not sure though since i have not bh'ed since the release of it.

but whenever i would pick up arrows (which were not mine) i still got a pen lol.

 

No, when you get a new kill your BH timer resets. 1 kill=180 seconds, 2 kills = 360 seconds.
