    Botting...win or lose money?

I was wondering, is botting really profitable?
I mean you hardly get anything for accounts...the bots cost shit loads of money. Not to forget the Electricity bill, Runescape members and posible VPS.

I pay like 300 Euro for my electricity bill alone (Thats only my PC) lets say 100$ for members. thats like 450$+100$ one time bot fee = at least $550.

    I'd say it's more of a lose...
The profit from accounts don't cover half the expenses in your case.

if your relating this to like.. profiting in real life? then no you will never in your life see profit from botting [unless you get a vps, have an amazing script and set up a ridiculous amount of bots [[glhf monitoring]] ]

yeah. i planned on botting for profits, but then i realised i enjoy just not having to put as much time into the game, and enjoying the perks of having cash/nice stats instead of actually having to put in time and effort for those stats.

    my two cents

Never seen a $100 bot...or did you mean 100 for multiple auths?
I think its possible to "win" some money.
    VPS, like what $15 usd/month?
Average bot $15, if you buy like 4 auth's and bot on 4 accounts all the time, selling the accounts. I would think you would make some income, while paying for the VPS, and ofc after the bots pay themselves off.

Then you would have to take in risks..Spend all your time on 4 accounts, and they get banned. Thats a month wasted on your VPS. Or just 3 got banned, and one was not, lucky that paid for vps, but no income.

So I guess within certain circumstances, you can make money.

    Win...

I actually firstwent through this phase when buying bots. I have kept a record of what I've spent / Max Ill copy paste it here:

    Money Spent On Bots: $221.67
Money Made from Selling Accounts: $435.10
    Total Profit to date: $213.43

And I have NEVER payed for a membership for a personal account in my life of runescape ( From when I brought my first bot )

I live on campus. I don't pay any electricity bill , Only a Flat fee of $120 / week + Food etc...

I don't pay VPS's because I have another computer ( desk top ) which can run up to 12 bots efficiently. Whilst I use my laptop for things like browsing sythe and what not...I also do not pay for internet - Its free on campus :D (Limited to 20gb / month which is PLENTY )

No i live in a stupid country where they charge tax on everything the actually price is something like 0.09 Euro but they charge double tax on it...

    9,03 eurocent energy price.
    10,85 eurocent energy tax.
    3,78 eurocent normal tax.

    1. You pay tax on the money you make.
    2. You pay tax for everything you buy 19%
    3. You get these crazy extra taxes

Seriously why should i even work? lol

    Loose/Even

    $100 For electricity A Month.
    $50 A Month For 10 Gb.
    Atleast $60 On Bots
    $40 On mem Pins.
    = $250 A Month

Botting Account sells = (About) $250 A month (To Gold4rs)

Even, I would make more money if I sold on Sythe, or If I didn't bot at all.

Not worth the effort to bot for $$$ unless you're like 14-years-old and really need the money.

I think it will even itself out pretty much.

I dont lose but i wouldnt say i win either considering the energy bill the auth codes paid and the memberships that are bought.

If you are paying the bills, probably not worth it all, considering the amount of power you need to run 24/7.

If you are living with parents and not paying bills, it is worth it.
