How long will ASGP be "The Farming Bot"?

Basically, how much longer can it maintain it's 150k-300k/hr rating?

Do you think it can stay above 150k for at least a month?

 

I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon. Herb prices have been fairly stable since they declined after the initial release of the bot. I'd say at LEAST for another few months if not a year.

 

Awhile, but I think it's going to get more and more risky real soon.

Hypothetically, prices should stay the same since people are getting herby up all the time.

However, if there's a surplus of supply and not enough demand which can easily be caused by the 1000s of sorc bots, then the prices won't be stable.

In a few months we'll probably see a decline, but then they'll shoot up over the summer when people have more time to play.

 

Tbh you have a lot of hesitation about trying to farm using ASGP.

In my opinion, just jump into it and give it a try and it will more than pay off your initial investment.

 

More and more people want to start building gold farms an SG is the best choice at the moment, at one point they will have to do something about it, whether that's going to be soon or not I don't know.

I think you should try it by all means, get in while it's good. Just start with maybe 3-5. No one knows the future though, for all we know they could change something in a week, I doubt it but I'm just saying. Regardless it's not like if you spent $150 on VPS and memberships and SG were to become unbottable for some reason that you'd be out $150. There'll always be something to bot to make $ that you could use the VPS and accounts for.

I guess the thing you have to think about is how long it will take you to earn back that $150.

10 bots making 250k an hour means 2.5M an hour. After 40 hours (less than 2 days of straight playing), you have 100M. After 60 hours (less than 3 days of straight playing), you have 150M.

If your bots are going to get banned before that 3 day mark, of course it isn't worth it. But anything after 3 days is pure profit....

 

Yeah I got all that... But I used 200k/hr and 8 bots so its like 30m/day (with a few break here and there). So after a week its all pure profit (time required to get 65 theif ect).

Unless anyone posts here thinking I will not make it a week with a legit reason, I'm going to go ahead and buy it.

I also think that sooner or later JaGeX is going to do a mass ban or something to stop the million Sorc bots we have now. I say this because, if you've seen Sorc Garden recently, you see that it's all cluttered up and it's laggy.

 

Hopefully they do that, because that will benefit people like me who only bot 8-10 hours a day, and do other things manually on them.

To be honest, if Jagex really wanted to, they could easily ban every single person using ASGP. There's several tells the bot has that if known and you're looking for them, can easily identify a player as a bot or not.

 

Jagex would never do an entire mass ban on ASGP.

Unless there is an outcry of legit players wanting it, it's simply too much profit for Jagex.


I think this bot should be able to maintain at least a 200k/hr GP rate.
Not unreasonable considering how fast and easy it is to set up.

 

I personally run my account @ sorc,(baby pure that is) for 20 hours a day. I legit just do it for money. That's all that account is really used for. I haven't made a business out of it I just xfer the GP to my main. Soon Jagex will realize that this bot is the biggest threat to their system. But at the moment with the shooting up of accounts and more membership buying for those accounts, I doubt they give a fuck.

 

I have done some serious thinking about this, due to a sizeable army and several investments.

Right now, herbs are crashing. However, check a 180 day perspective, and almost all of them are actually higher in average.

Before the double xp weekend stuff is going to go up. However, everyone's hoarding the herbs due to this crash, so within a few hours of the price going up the market is going to be flooded again.

A week after the xp weekend, things should be better. I don't think the price will climb, but it will stay stable, if a bit lower than before.

As more and more people start SG bots, it is common sense to assume the herb price will slowly fall. Say 5% every 2 weeks. However, as this happens, training herblore will become more and more of an attractive offer to other players, so more and more people will be buying the herbs. I reckon this this will be sufficient to counteract the slight drop in price.

tl;dr - After the xp weekend they will crash, then hold steady. Maybe *slowly* decline.

 

i have been trying to purchase this bot for awhile i just dont have enough on my paypal but for the most part i hear its the best way to go so i guess i will be making that investment once i get it. I agree it will decline after xp weekend mainly because demand will decrease.
