Botting Ban Frequency

This thread was created to see how current jagex is with their bans. Are their still a ton of bots not getting banned or are they slowly dissipating? I'm curious what others have to say about their current bots and bot farms!​

 

Thanks for that! I really think they got it down pat too.. I think maybe if I were to code my own script from hand doing things it might be different, like if I made it stop and do something else for a bit.

 

very true.. Ill consider this a lot and will probably avoid it to begin with.

 

High ban rates so if you bot make sure you are very careful and baby the bot as much as you can and obviously take breaks.

 

Btw, how long does it take for a ban to happen while botting? I heard it can take up to 36 hours correct?

 

banrates go higher, less competition, more profit.

 

ive noticed that my f2p bots rarely get banned but once i make them p2p they get banned within 1-2 days if i'm being reckless (botting too long).

 

Had few bots running and if I'm not careful, such as taking breaks or stopping and doing some different task they get Quickly banned

 

I've been suiciding 2 accounts with via aMiner with Tribot for the past week to two weeks (12+ hours a day, took Wednesday and Thursday off though). Nothing has happened to them. They are pretty old accounts (one is over 12 years old) and I am using a premium script with many anti ban features. Hoping together a couple more weeks out of them haha.

 

The ban rates are so unpredictable. Some people get banned the same day, some never do. Makes no sense!

 

I can't understand it to be honest ... I've got 99 thieving 2x this year doing 20+ hours every day non stop yet I've been permed on other accounts in under 2 hours ...

 

Any tips on where to bot thieving?

 

Almost nonexistent on the weekends, then monday rolls around and all your weekend bots are banned. Then on the weekdays every night around 5:30am EST the do a ban wave and get from 0%-75% of your bots.

 

Wait seriously? How many bots are you running if you don't mind me asking? And what client/scripts are you running?

 

Tribot, anywhere from 5-25, usually 15-20.

my scripts are public/paid on tribot. I suicide bot f2p only.

They wait on banning accounts and then do a banwave, usually 5:30am est, around that time.

 

Yeah mu 2 miners were banned this morning when I woke up. Maybe 12 pm ish.

 

Banrates are very high right now compared to what it used to be back then. The trick is to make as much GP as you can before the inevitable ban.

 

Has anyone botted any 99s recently and which ones?
