Botters will keep RS07 alive

I personally can't wait for bots to come out I am super excited.

Botters always keep the game alive, they keep the economy stable if jagex manage to ban enough of them. Too many is when the economy gets ruined.

 

This makes no sense to me? How does jagex banning bots = new players joining the game? Do you mean they will create new accounts and how does that keep the game alive?

 

Botting is one thing, but goldfarming is another. Gold farming is ruining the game. Since last week, there have been a crazy amount of goldfarmers at flax, yews, magics, etc. It is truly getting out of hand.

 

You could have been botting from day #1

 

There's 10+ bots buying silk at al kharid in every world. It was like that just a day or so after the bot was released. Really surprising at how fast gold farmers have moved.

 

Yea, this is goldfarming heaven. With gold prices so high and so many know methods of goldfarming, it is likely going to continue until botwatch is implemented.

Edit: just realized my post was kind of ironic, since my signature was "On my way to goldfarming 2B" lol. That was on the eoc rs when the economy was already screwed.

 

To a certain extent, I sure hope RSGP rates won't crash as bad as it has for EOC RS.

 

I fail to understand how the existance of bots brings in new players. If anything I would think the opposite is true. Care to explain?

 

People saying that bots are needed are just goldfarmers I guess. Bots has ruined EOC economy and prices ,so thats one of reasons why players moved into 07.. I guess Jagex will take care of bots in 07 more then EOC to not lose these players again...

Actually there are much more sofisticated bots in 07 ,but most of them fail in randoms

 

Bots are needed to an extent, to pump a certain amount of goods into the economy. However, now it's out of hand. When there's 10+ bots at everywhere that has potential to make money, every world it gets ridiculous. Sure, a few bots here and there help the economy, but the number of bots now is just absurd.

 

I agree blupig but also they help keep prices at a price people can afford. If not for bots right now yews,flax,bs, iron, gold ore,all runes and tabs and so many other things would be alot more rare and cost to much for most people to afford.

 

As long as the bans are steady this game can survie. Bots bring in constant supplys and yes it is hard for legit wc etc however if you cut at eddgy or near fally you can cut more logs per hour and gain more money as bots are not made for those ares (yet)

I disagree, bots lower the prices of resources, making it not worth the time for non-botters to gather resources themselves, they are not necessary for the economy. Runescape is too easy anyways IMO

That's exactly right, they're really just saying this shit to make themselves feel better. They want to think they're doing some great fucking deed, when in actuality they're ruining the game.

 

I would be completely fine with a 110% bot nuke on 07. RSGP would be worth more, accounts would be worth more, everything would be better. Runescape wasn't created for a bot to play for you -.-....I wish the bot creators would atleast make the bots VIP and you had to pay a monthly subscription fee or something, that would knockout 50%+ of the bots...and you had to buy scripts and stuff...
