Bots?

Im kinda bummed that RS is like dead, I want to make a botting client for a popular game. Im not gonna attempt WOW cause i dont wanna get sued. What game would you be interested in botting?

 

I know Diablo III will be a popular subject.

 

Well, lets start off with this question first.. - What programming languages do you know?

 

That's not even going to be an issue, specific games need specific languages.

Games like WoW need a lot of DLL injection which is best in C++ (this actually goes the same for most standalone games), as where web-based games can use bots in Java (for Java games), or just the classical color bots which can really be made in anything.

Bots for Runescape are surprisingly easier (most of the time) than bots for other games, because of the seamless communication between Java and a Java applet. With most other games you're probably going to deal with packets or GL hooking.
