Botnetting and DDoS

Isn't what I do on my computer my business? If I want to botnet stuff as long as it doesn't effect Sythe why is it any of your business? Would you ban someone for looking at porn on their computer? What people do on their computer is their business, as long as it doesn't effect Sythe, there should be no ban made.

 

this is very true, if they did it to someone from sythe then yes but otherwise no. im not saying i do this sorta stuff but i dont reckon people should be banned.

Yes, You are correct, it is illegal. As long as Sythe doesn't open a forum for it or have discussions, he will be fine.

 

Porn isn't a threat to our users, DDOSers are.

 

We treat every case differently. Our rules are not set in stone. We do what we feel is the correct thing to do to help the site. We don't want people on here that DDos people because it is dangerous.

 

The DDOSers are not doing anything to sythe. Im making like a connection not saying I do. If I had child porn on my computer and I was on sythe.. I should be banned? because its illegal. Im not posting it or discussing it at all, but if I have it.. I should be banned? ( Child porn is sick and wrong just btw.)

Also.. What do you not understand about they don't want DDoSers on Sythe? Anyone who does it. Period.

 

Let's put it this way. If you are a DDoSer and mods let you stay on Sythe. Then later on, you're banned for something. You'll probably DDoS Sythe.

 

So, you are saying that anybody that ddos will be banned, but pedophiles are a different story? If someone clearly likes children and is old, you don't find that slightly wrong?

How does a botnet threaten Sythe anymore than what you have stated? If someone doesn't do it to Sythe, why should they their account be terminated?

 

If the person doesn't get banned in this case, and doesn't do anything wrong in sythe, leading a good internet life on sythe chances are, he wont ddos sythe.

Now, if the person gets banned for being a ddoser, but DOESN'T ddos sythe whilst he wasn't banned, I would be guessing they would have a higher chance of ddosing sythe.

Stop Stereotyping, don't assume that everyone banned for that will do the same thing. Not all black people steal, not all Chinese people eat rice.

It's two completely different things, I don't see why you're comparing them.
