Very nice update.
Wow thats extremely nice, its well deserved for the people taking the risk of being a bond holder, thanks again to @Mootrucks for processing my first donation, extremely understanding and professional guy, this is great for anyone who processes donations daily![]()
As you know, we only accept PayPal directly, so bond holders give our users a lot more choice.
And removed shortly after.Hmm? I thought direct donations via bitcoin were added like a year or two ago.
Just why? Sythe doesn't like btc?And removed shortly after.
I guess it brought too many issues with it.Just why? Sythe doesn't like btc?
weird, lots of people donating $5 and then $200+ via paypal, SQ and CB.I guess it brought too many issues with it.

What the fuck lmao. I commented on how overdue bitcoin as a donation option was when it was released, there's no words I can come up with than can express how daft it is that it was deprecated.I guess it brought too many issues with it.

The problem with Bitcoin was the transaction fees were really high. Because we were getting so many small payments, it was VERY expensive to cash them out into bigger coins at exchanges. We ultimately decided Bitcoin was too much effort and overhead to deal with and removed it...
Interesting, why not make a minimum of $25 or $50 for donation via Bitcoin directly? If there are fees, include them in the donation cost and make it upfront. Safe, effective, and all fees are covered + donation goes directly to Sythe.
Makes it easier for the end-user in particular to not have to deal with adding a bondholder in the first place and therefore, more likely for someone to donate.
Just because we say its going to be $25 or $50 minimum doesn't mean that people will send that amount or even read the message. I assume its much easier and less hassle to accept USD through pp from bondholders (8 accept BTC as of right now) than it is to keep BTC donations enabled.
Also the price of btc is constantly fluctuating as opposed to USD so its much easier for them
Shut up lol imagine funding Richards addiction for a prize box???This is epic, thanks Matthew.
