Canadian IP ends with .49

Dutch one was last used on Wednesday at 8:43 PM
Canadian one was last used on Wednesday at 9:32 PM.

A flight from Netherlands to Canada is approx 8 hours therefore this is physicially impossible.
The last IP on user's audit is a proxy which he has been camping from ever since.

I'd like to request a TWC on this user until he provides proof of his home IP and an explanation of the other IP.

 

Hey Wortel! My partner Toland told me about this and i wanted to give you some feedback. Thats my original IP. I am now using a program to keep me safe on being hacked or any information stolen from me. I have a large amount of Gold and private emails i cannot have messed with since i will be going to college soon. Most of my funds are connected/linked with the E-mails.

I am leaving to church rite now for a Christmas play/program. I will be sure to check this thread once i am back.

Don't you worry buddy, I believe I've been on staff long enough now to know what are proxies and what aren't, your proxy couldn't be more obvious, however I have yet to find out about proxies from Ziggo (a Dutch ISP) and Rogers Cable (Canadian ISP). Happy holidays!

 

Reply back to Wortel: I am not calling you wrong at all about me using a proxy. I've read over the Rules an have not seen anything mentioning "Others" not being able to use a Proxy Server.

In this case, am i creating an offence to using one? I have been suggested to use one for my own safety. There is private information such as E-mails etc. I've got College fees going through an E-mail an would HATE for somebody to hack into it an mess something up for me.

If this is an issue, we can fix it and i will need to find something else that protects my end. I don't want to do something that will bother you or any staff member. With somebody's IP address, you can do a lot of cruel things to them. I am not the only one living in this Residence. I'm doing my part as a Roommate an causing less stress an other situations that could cause harm to my Information and safety.

I hope you can understand what i am saying. I was not calling you wrong at all ( Proxy ). I do not share my Account, nobody else has information to my Sythe Account.

 

The ISP you're using is called WholeSale Internet at this moment. I'm very well aware that's a proxy server, though your account has been accessed by ACTUAL home IP's aswell - while there hasn't been any databreaches on here the last few years as far as I can recall - so I'm very curious about your explanation how it's been possible for you to log-in from Canada and The Netherlands in a time-span of only 1 hour?

 

Reply back to Wortel: Merry Christmas Eve! I am sorry for the late response, today is a very busy day.

As of now, I am using a proxy Server for Sythe for my safety of E-mails being Hijacked and whatnot.

I have logged into my Account from another Computer recently which is going to be another IP address linked to a home internet. The group of friends use proxy sockets as well, maybe that's why it shows you otherwise?

I'm not an expert as this and can only provide as much information as i can to my knowledge.

My account is safe an nobody else has my information i'm 99.9% sure. If there is another location on my account it's from the proxy Server or using my Friends internet service. If you feel somebody has my password, i will change it an secure my Account a bit more.
