Zach was the coder of my discord gambling bot. We made an agreement that zach has broken in many ways.
I'm accusing zach for several stuff in this report.
1. He tried to scam the code he sold to me.
Zach has been playing me until the last second that he left my clan. He was promising too much, acting too loyal, acting like a friend and that the good of my clan was in his best interest, until the minute he was ready to backstab me and try his best to bring my whole server down by spreading false rumors (which he was planning with a few others behind my back for a while).
He was giving every stupid excuse as to why he wouldnt show me the code, but in reality it was just in the plan weeks/months before he left.

When he left my server and created his, he hid the code from me, and kept telling me that I don't own it. Even though I made it clear that I'm buying it and not renting it. He tried to trick me into rebuying it or keep paying him weekly without him working on the updates i needed or on anything whatsoever. On top of that he tried making me think that I couldn't use another coder to give me updates since I cannot share his code, unless i pay him EXTRA

However after days of convincing him with proof that this would just get him banned on sythe, he gave me the code, but still kept trying to get something from me for it. Either another payment or making me accepting his new contract so he could use it to then fuck me up.

2. He copied my code and resold+reused it.
So not only he told me not to and threatened me and make my REBUY my code so i can have the right to show it, but he did it himself! He didn't only expose my code, but sold and reused it as well. Claiming that its not my code he was using and that he just recoded everything exactly the same !!

3. I paid for code that he refused to give me because he was leaving my server.
He created a new game (Hi-Lo) for me while I was still paying him and when he left he sold it to the owners of his new scamserver instead because "they had priority", so since he "isn't allowed to use the same code in 2 servers" he had to "recode" it for me. Which he never did.

4. He scammed a part of my code and tried to make me rebuy it from his server's admin/friend (most probably to split the profit of this scam sale)
I had 2 bots. One for discord gambling games, and one for my hosts to use to calculate their payouts and bets easily, notify cashiers when someone needed to deposit, and more. Small part of that bots code was gifted to me by an ex host (barry) who chose to follow zach in the new server back then. The biggest and most important part of it though was coded by zach. After they left the ex host decided to take the bot down and zach claimed that he gave barry the code and didn't have it anymore, and that barry was refusing to give it back to him (which is obviously 100% bullshit, but it doesn't matter if its the truth or not. He still owes me the code). So zach kept asking me TONS of times to rebuy that code from barry.

After I kept refusing and making it clear to him I wasnt going to fall for this, he said he would "recode" it but would take long because of his exams and giving priority to his server

and up to this day he hasn't given it back to me.

 

Hey iStaky,

I'll address your report point by point.

1. This was miscommunication in our contract. Our contract is the most flimsy contract I've ever had. In 1 instance you had said you were paying for the bot from me. In another instance you said you were buying the code from me. We were arguing over that for weeks and that's why I wasn't giving you the code. This led to both of us claiming the other person was a scammer for weeks. I have also sent the full code to you twice now in e-mail. Proof:

2. I never re-used code, and I never exposed your code either. Please provide proof. If it really comes to it, you can send the Stake Land code to a Sythe mod and I can send the Hydra Bets code and they can see how different it is (I can send the gitlub link so they can see the last time it was updated as well). But this is a last resort as I really don't like handing out my code.
3. This was during the time I was overloaded with bot exams and work. Once I was going to get to it, you scammed out and stopped paying me for my work, so of course I'm not going to code an entire game for free.
4. I'm sorry that your other dev didn't want to give you your code or bot. That is beyond my control. I didn't give you the cashier bot because as I reported for you here, you refused to pay me for it. This was the second bot that I had made for you that was mentioned many times in that report. It was ruled that I was in the right to terminate that bot as you weren't paying me. If you need it, I now code freelance and I can code it for you.

1. Theres was no miscommunication. You just tried to take advantage of me saying that i bought the bot instead of the code, which you thought would give you the right to scam it and make me rebuy it.
Luckily I made it clear that I was buying the code, and that you d need to work on it whenever needed, but most wouldnt because they wouldnt think of what a snake you could turn into.

3. I never scammed out, you did. You quitted my server and tried to bring it down by promising my hosts stuff you d never give them just so they leave my server and join yours. Now ofc they all either scammed out, or got scammed/tricked by you as they told me and now that they realized it want to come back here.
You wouldnt code an entire game for free. You ALREADY coded it and ALREADY got paid for it. Not to mention that that game is also part of the part 2. of my report which is you using my code elsewhere

4. I dont care about the code he gifted me, I care about the code you claimed he scammed you for. Which I have already paid for and never received just because you guys had the idea of making an extra buck off it by making this whole story up that he scammed you for it so he could resell it to me megalul:
I stopped paying you because YOU chose to retire. Its not a scam its our contract. But thats not relevant since I have paid for that bot and code wayy before you retired.
Im way past your manipulation game, wont work again.

 

Again, I'm not re-using your code elsewhere and you have posted 0 proof of that. I said I would send my code if necessary. You have given legit no proof that your code is re-used and no reason for me to send my code out. If a mod deems it necessary then I will, but this is just an allegation with no evidence supporting it.

Once again, you never paid me for this second bot. It's not my fault your other dev pulled his bot. I'm not sure why you are reporting me months after this incident.

I will wait for a mod to comment here because as usual this is going in circles.

 

Other than you have exactly the same stuff as my bot which took you months to make as u were claiming, done in almost no time, I dont think I need more proof to be able to check.
Are you claiming that you havent used my code on your server?

I have paid you for the second bot. You were still getting paid when you coded it. The fact that you somehow got the code "scammed" doesnt mean anything. You would need to recode it, or lets just be honest, give it to me since you have it and you havent actually got scammed for it

 

Yes, I am claiming that I have not reused your code in any other bots. Yes, my bot has the same games as yours. Your bot has the same games as every other gambling server so that is not proof that I reused your code.

I completed the 2nd bot during the week I retired. You didnt pay me for that week (again this was all said in my initial report of you).

 

No other server has exactly the same games and commands, that also work and look exactly the same. So yea I'd like to have an admin see the code of your current bot and compare to mine. And ofc as you said, the heroku dates of your updates.

The second bot (cashier+staking commands, logs etc) was made wayyyyyy before you retired.

I already said that barry gifted part of the code of that bot. But thats the useless part. What Im reporting you about is your part that apparently he was able to scam from you megalul:

To keep this clean moving forward, do not respond unless I tag you to do so.

Unless explicitly stated in a contract, when you hire a developer to write a piece of software for you, the developer maintains the rights to the code and the buyer has rights to the product. If you want the code then you need to state that it's part of the agreement or buy it afterwards.

I see no proof @Dev_Zach sold you code. And that if he did sell you code I don't see proof that he's giving it to others.

@iStake54 Please provide evidence that Dev_Zach sold you CODE and not a program. And furthermore, provide evidence that he then shared the code you allegedly purchased without your consent.

Proof he is using the game he scammed me for and gave to the other clan which had "priority" since he was a mod there or whatever. Eventhough he coded it for me while I was the one paying for it, he gave it to them and said he had to RECODE it in order to give it to me since he isnt allowed to sell me their code:

And since he was claiming he recoded everything since the first few days that he left my clan, I knew I would probably need more evidence so he helped me by forgetting to change the text from saying "stakeland profit" (which is my clan) to "hydra profit" as he should have done in order to hide any evidence of him using my code, and has done with any other game he copied the code from:

@iStake54 that instance was for the first bot code, which Dev_Zach has showed screenshots of emailing you the code for. Those other screenshots aren’t proof he used the code from your bot.

You’ll need to provide more and better evidence.

You asked for proof that he is using my code which i dont think would be possible if I didnt happen to see that he forgot to change the text of my code that says "stakeland profit".
Its legit so obvious what are you talking about? What other proof would I be able to provide thats better than that? He is using the exact same commands and games, with the only difference that he changed names from stakeland to hydrabets

Im not saying he didnt email me that part of the code (after an attempt to scam that too).
The part of the code from the GAMBLING BOT he scammed and used only for his clan when I am the one who paid for it is the game called "HiLo".
And he also scammed the other bot as a whole. (the cashier bot)

 

@iStake54 please send me a the code he sent you over email and any other code he provided you and I will cross reference it with the code he is using for his bot. Pm me how you’d like to send it.

 

I've reviewed the code and determined that it is a significantly different codebase than the Stakeland code. With this in mind I'm closing this case and marking it as resolved.
