Anyone knows if they are able to detect the foods that you have eaten within the last week ago?

No, but i'm sure they can tell the type you have eaten. For example if you have eaten lots of fast food they can see that in your blood. Also if you have eaten lots of meat they can see the protein in your blood.

A Colonoscopy can tell you what you have been eating... :/
Blood test can determine many things but not what foods you have been eating.
Blood tests are more likely to determine allergies illness and such things.

hmm well if you have some left then you can still take it down to testing and there'd be good chance.. otherwise I believe they can trace what food it came from.. certain foods have certain properties per se.. for example if the popcorn chicken was fried, there'd be certain traits of the salmonella that you'd be able to see.. for example a centered nucleus vs an off-center nucleus.. you should go to a specialist or so and check.. it might cost you a little bit or most of time free with insurance..

GET CHECKED THEN SUE THE MOTHERFUCKING COMPANY WHO SOLD U CHICKEN.. you'd win really if you have proof you cooked it for 20 minutes.. also save ur feces.. trust me they'd like that

    second year med school :/

no i do not have any traces of the food i have eaten.

yes i believe pop corn chicken was fried. there wouldn't be a way to check because i think the ones that i ate came with some type of flavor that makes it a bit spicy. i believe its called paprika but i don't know if you're allowed to sue the job(company) for having salmonella poisoning... i've ate this many many times. at least 10 times total in 1 and half years.. i've had other co-workers complaints about the food poisoning ( getting you sick) but they do nothing about it.

i did however will be filing a complaint tomorrow

It doesn't really matter what gave you food poisoning. You have it, you'll get better, the end.. No reason wasting money with doctor shit.

I don't think they can tell the specific foods you have eaten just from your blood test results alone. I'm sure they can tell what kind of general diet you have (whether you eat healthy food or a ton of junk food) based on your health and certain levels of things in your body. But they can't be like "Ohh, I see you had spaghetti for dinner last night with a slice of cheescake afterwards?" :p

Just don't eat that popcorn chicken again and move on. If you get it again, just vomit and analyze it. :D

I don't think they can see 100% what you've eaten..
