Blocking Ads in Runescape = Banable

[Sincos]

Just thought all of you who block ads in f2p runescape would want to know this. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=2396
Not sure how it would be detectable but still.

[Flameset]

Yea this is kinda old.

Has anyone ever been banned for this?

[Sincos]

Its old, but i never noticed it until now, im sure most people didnt know about it

[Hello Miss799]

Lol I'm F2p and I block them all the time. I think Jagex is just trying to scare us and get us to unblock the ads...

[ultrakurby]

it doesnt say its bannable

[Maniac_GFX]

I've known someone who's been banned by this, but i do believe as "Hello Miss" stated, their just trying to scare us. They don't want their precious money being taken away.

By the way, ultrakurby.

To keep RuneScape enjoyable for everyone please observe and follow this rule. We will not tolerate disruptive players, and if you break our rules your account is likely to be banned. Members who are banned for breaking our rules are not entitled to any sort of refund.

Found on the bottom of the page, it is a rule.

[Rare Names]

I'm not sure how they'd be able to tell if you were blocking the ads unless you said in-game that you were. And yes, I did know, but it's not very likely that they'll catch you

[RSGod626]

Pointless, and gay rule.

[RutuliukaS]

yeah , however undetectable i suppose

[Cymru]

I block adds with a javascript. It also makes my RS look exactly like members full screen.
