Dota 2 section.

idk if this has been asked before but i would really like to see a dota 2 section considering the fact that there is a lol market and csgo market i dont quite understand why there is a lol market before dota 2 considering the only thing u can do in it is boosting and acc swapping where in dota 2 u can buy / sell items u can boost mmr and also swap accounts for $$ plz dont tell me that there is a steam section for that because u will never find anyone offering dota 2 services as the bots will just bump and all that comes up is steam accs etc etc

It was denied before twice, although I'm not sure if there was an increase in market activity for Dota.

 

i mean considering the new international is out and better items are coming out and with the possibilty of gambling items i think the market activity would be high if given a chance im 100% sure people have alot of items they want to sell but they dont know how to or where too.

 

can we get some support on this need this up asap...

the activity will just continue to grow i mean new people looking to buy / sell on dota 2 will come to sythe and see every section except for a dota section they will reliaze how hard it is to find a thread because auto bumps just bump all day then they will go to epicnpc and the first thing they will see is a dota 2 market i mean its just going to drive away all the buyers and sellers to epicnpc might aswell have them here.

i really don't think in any sense Dota 2 is growing in popularity. Isn't it dying all together at an extremely fast speed? Any news i've heard from Dota 2 is it's losing player hand over fist. I think it being it's own stand alone section is a bad idea since IMO it'll be a wasteland.

However maybe like the "other mmos" section there could be a "other mobas' section including games like HOTS and Smite and maybe even toss Overwatch in there since it's hyped to all fuck right now people might like that.

 

lol to think dota 2 is dying man lol has released 10 heroes in the last year while dota still has not done 1 btw internationals are coming up the day it came out prize pool is already at 6m there is no sense or chance of dota 2 getting closed soon lmao!

 

Love DotA 2, Support. All the new meta changes are so frequent, makes it more difficult, but it also adds to why people keep leaving.

Not exactly growing. Anyway Ive played DotA and CSGO. DotA 2 doesn't have a paywall, so it's not as impressive as CSGO. More trading and gambling goes on CSGO because pretty much all their players have spent on that game, aside from people who were gifted it. On the other hand you can't say the same thing with DotA. I don't mind giving it a try, but I won't support it as I don't really expect the market to have much activity.

 

matye 1m+ players on dota.... are u telling me that if we open a dota 2 section not half of them atleast will come to this site to do there trading....

 

I will also add support to this. Sections are easy to add in general so this shouldn't take much time.

 

There's no point in adding dead sections though, I'm not too familiar with Dota but I heard it's playerbase is declining and there isn't much of a market on Sythe for it from what I know

 

I SUPPORT THIS!!!!! The game isnt declining, Its hardest and most competitive MOBA out of the big three. Dota 2 players > LoL

 

League is extremely more popular competitively and market wise. In terms of activity how active are Dota players on sythe? I'd think not many

 

Because they have no section? Obviously LOL and Dota 2 is harder no one can deny that. LoL may be competitive in the sense they have more players but the game is easier and in dota 2 they are so many options in play styles and character builds the meta is way more intense.

 

What sort of Dota services would people open up? Or are you thinking only a discussion page.

 

Post some proof of Dota already being active in this market? It may help win some support, but I very rarely see Dota market threads that require attending too while I'm moderating.

Generally for new sub-sections to be implemented, we need to see some level of activity already within the forum to warrant the creation of the new sub-section. Sure, you can argue that the creation of the sub-section will boost activity, but every time a new market sub-section has been created, it's ended up dying and become a ghost town that gets scrapped a few months later.

Again, if you can provide some serious proof that it has an active base on Sythe already I may change my mind, until then, no support.
