Blackmail attempt? Kogut2

[codesythe]

User states he has my IP (I'm guessing that's what he meant by the conversation)

I believe his end goal here was to have me send money to him and then he won't release all the information to jagex? Call it extortion.

Hello @codesythe,

Hopefully it won't be necessary, but in the future please make sure you use the template to the best of your ability: READ THIS FIRST! How to Report a Scammer - Report Templates

If you could elaborate a bit please. What was the trade and so on?

@kogut2 I have applied a DNT on your profile for now. If you would like to defend yourself, please do so now.

It was a post I made on selling a RuneScape account. This person tried telling me, as seen in the screenshot, that he has my information he'll hand it over to jagex if I didn't pay money. Seems like extortion.

@kogut2 defend yourself now, or in a dispute/pardon request later.

@codesythe thank you for your report.

@kogut2 has been banned for 1 month and will need to Request a Pardon in order to get the DNT removed.
