my friend moved to china about 2 years ago and he found out it was being mass produced in a factory near him so he just asked somebody for a copy and paid $40 not sure how much in yen and then i was like no way dude and he mailed me one too and now ive got it days before it comes out =p

From what we've seen on the beta (it shows as First Strike on PSN and LIVE), it actually looks okay.

I don't know how the actual game would be; I don't think anyone other than the higher-ups at Activision and Treyarch would have a copy, excluding this guy potentially.

 

I'll just wait for modern warfare 3, but customization is a good feature this year.

That's awesome dude. But you do know when it's official released you'll get banned off XBL. That's what happened with reach. Anyone who was on the online leader board & was a member of Bungie staff got banned from XBL.

i'm a little hesitant to buying black ops, WAW sucked so bad that i don't trust treyarch to make a game. it sounds like its going to be like WAW, go strong for a few months then die. this isn't what im looking into for a game, i'm just gonna rent it to see if I like it, why risk it.

 

Anyone can mod a older version Xbox 360 council and then pirate the games roughly 1-3 weeks before they are launched. It does you no good to play the game online as microsoft then notices it and will probably disable your GT but cool

 

I heard Activision and treyarch swich years, i might buy black ops or just save my money...so when the next Cod comes out ill have enough money.

 

WaW wasn't that bad. Minus glitches that were patched and god-mode SMGs, WaW was actually okay.

Treyarch definitely redeemed themselves with WaW after CoD3's failure. This game (Black Ops) appears to be one big mess of everything the community's been clamoring for since CoD4, and possibly earlier, came out.

The question is will this amalgamation of features work, or will it fall to shambles?

yes its enabled if you want to i can invite you to a game of black ops but you'll obvs need the disc =p

 

You should totally burn the game to an iso so you can leak it to us and the modding communities :3

 

Yeah, if you put it on an .iso, you'll be famous. Plenty of people could get it early then.
