I'm interested in buying btc. I already have a moneypak purchased, but I could not find a way to get bitcoins, lol. There seems to be no easy way to get those darned things!

What exactly is bitcoins, if you would care to explain it?

 

It's basically a virtual currency backed by strong cryptography. It differs from paypal in that although it is virtual, it is still a hard currency. It's essentially like cash; it can be given and spent like cash, but cannot be faked, spoofed, artificially created or influenced, etc. There's a sticky in this section on bitcoins which might be of more elp.
