Pictures of the first few months of 07

These are a few pictures of my 07 scape journey. I was late to the party but i made a serious splash in a short amount of time. My merching lasted only 60 days total. I made over 300m+ in 3 weeks. I was introduced to dragondyce and quickly lost it all when i yolo'd (TTB rolled a fucking 12) I received a 50m loan and quickly turned it into 350m after 2 weeks. I dont have all the pictures but i was able to find these. I wish i could find the ones with the 300m+ stacks.

Edit: Just realized the majority of pictures are on my old desktop. I still actually have it and will set it up tomorrow and put them on this page. (I was taking a shit and had a flashback to my old house and computer lol.)

 

Interesting bit of pictures you've got, makes me wish that I played back near the release of 07.

Man, playing osrs right after release was so great - such a rush of nostalgia. I remember camping those tree spirits for rune axes when they were like 100k You didn't really miss out on much if you didn't start playing on release though, content gets added at such a slow pace and it was probably better to let the economy stabilize a little. Glad they added the GE at least because standing around for hours trading people got old really fast.

@hattez, you still do any merching/flipping at all?

 

Not bad at all, glad you don't feel nastalgia.

I remember the good old days of this and knowing you merchant is a good thing as it's truly the heart of the game.

Even in RS3, the soul still and always will run on its economy as everything's centrally connected.

 

The release of the G.E ended my merching days. I prefer the old school way of merching. I could make 1m profit on every GS and, 5-15m on 3a pieces. Those were the days.

 

Ya i feel ya man, now the GE restricts buying quantities so you cant even flip for long..

GWD was released in October of 2013 while 07scape was released in February of 2013. So rates were like 2.5-3$/m to sell to a major goldseller, right ? Pretty good bank ^-^

 

I remember logging on the instant it was released, and the excitement of individuals running all over the place feeling the nostalgia, as well as following their plans that they'd made for months ensuring they could get a head start was insane. I wish I stuck around for more than a few hours before leaving and coming back a few months later.

Gold being like $4 for 10K was nuts too.
