Biggest private server development ever

Could someone, if they had the time on their hands, please make a complete copy of the actual RS and make it downloadable? This would be a real 'RuneScape private server' as people could host RS on their home computers, not even needing to go online!

Firstly that would be nearly impossible, and secondly whats the point? It wouldn't be hardly as fun as runescape and it would just be a copy with hardly anyone on...

First of all you would need to edit a client so that it runs of the newest cache (i think it is 452) anyways right now moparscape runs of of the 317 cache which is way away from 452. then once you do that you would need to code everything which could take years and by then you would have to update the client again making this a long process. then ocne you complete it there would be no reason to release it.

It could be done, will it be done is the question, do we all really have the time to recreate a shitty game? making it the same would be pointless. Private servers are used for getting stats faster, obtaining items you cant get in game, having something different then the original runescape game. With the freedoms of doing what you want, how you want. if you want something like the real game, you wont find it. just play the normal game.

What I wanted was an OFFLINE copy of RS. My dad banned the Net on my computer, and I wanted to play offline, especially Hunting and Constructing

Shawn lmao Endar V4 is the has teh newest private server cache so far so stfu. Lmao Miss Silabsoft form Mopar hasn't even done it yet and she could whoop you in coding. Any way true you'd need the newest cache. I actually have the files but its all obfuscated. Damned Jad sucks at decompiling it anyway so it won't compile without errors. -.-

amazing spontaneous thinking there, I feel no other person in the whole history of the world has ever had these ideas before. To make a private server that is actually RuneScape... a paradigm shift has just occurred!
