Premier Club: bonds or cash

So I did a quick calculation with the current price of bonds:

You need 24 bonds for the gold package, currently at 13.8m ea, that is 331m total.

The 1y premier package (Gold) is priced at €94,99 but if you buy 331m gold on sythe you are to pay somewhere between €88,- and € 94,- (checked several gold sites).

Bond value has changed quite a lot since the rerelease of the premier packages.


Whats suggested? Bonds or cash? 'i want to deny profit for jagex' arguments welcome

 

pretty sure you can get the gold cheaper than that on sythe if you look around. tell gold sellers you have an offer of (their price - 10%) and ask if they can match. that kind of stuff.

 

Its still cheaper if you buy the bonds with GP instead of buying the membership on their website. It will save you $5. I sell gold for 0.27 USD/M. so that accounts to $89.37.

The savings used to be better but they did increase the price and the bonds are way up because of the premier.

 

Buy the gold off websites, i'm like 99% sure it's going to be cheaper that way. If you manage to find BTC to pay then you can get the gold even cheaper I'm sure

 

I'd just buy the gold off sythe, then buy bonds with the gold. Ends up being cheaper.

 

Just did a quick scout and on one of the largest Gold sites, you can purchase 331m for 86 euros, that being paid with PayPal or any method as well. I won't say the name of the owner/store for advertising sakes (if you want you can PM me.) But yeah, that was a quick 2 minute scout, you'd probably save more with a little more research.

 

I don't think bonds will ever be more expensive than what Runescape sells on their website or it will totally be useless. I'd say just wait until the prices slow down on bonds for a bit before buying.

 

yea im going to take this into account, ill probably wait till the last few days of the auction and check the prices of bonds then, I can probably save a few more bucks at that time

It's Jagex creating a sort of package deal. You get additional benefits from subscribing including cheaper rates and some free stuff like emotes, loyalty points, etc. Everything you need to know can be found in Jagex' news post found here.

That's up to you. It's nearly twice as much as if you buy through Amazon. Overall just look through all the stuff you get and decide if that's worth ~$40, if it is, go ahead and buy it.

Only if you actually think you'll use the perks. I mean, it's a great way to support Jagex if you're happy with the way the game's going.

I think he's referring to memberships such as game cards, etc, being cheaper than purchasing through the Premier Club.
