Beware of Bans!

Okay so I have just received a permanent ban after trading 500k real world trading so be careful guys it appears that they are clamping down harsh on real world tading on rs 07 .




Btw this is definitely from rs 07 as that is the only thing the account has been used for .

You need to watch out who you trade with and of course it should be a straight deal. Some RSGP vendors are reporting the buyers if they chargeback via Paypal.

 

This worries me. I planned on buying some gold later this week.

 

I'd definitely be interested in knowing what kind of seller you bought from, as that does make a difference.

There is the threorys of the asain gold farming accounts been watched a shiet load more then others. I have been transfering from my mules to main. With the botting getting out of hand I think the bans will come hard and fast

 

Wow, harsh considering you only bought 500k. Did you just trade a level 3 and he gave you the money and done? I think that when I'm gonna buy gold I'll atleast go stand at the bank for a few mins screaming: Selling rune scim and then trade it for the gold or something, or stake. Hell even maybe go to edge and pk the guy for it if it's near my level. Seems dangerous just trading and giving nothing in return!

 

That won't make a difference. I think it solely depends on the person you are trading; are they known to jagex? Etc.
I'd say majority of those chinese gold farmers are being watched very closely.

 

Not planning to buy of chinese gold farmers though, but trusted people here on sythe.

 

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the major high end sellers are being watched also, surely enough jagex staff have been on this website, pretended to buy gold, gotten usernames of the sellers and just watch.. It's never safe to buy gold, remember the risks.

 

It really depends on who you're trading with, I've sold 07/EoC gp from the same account. No bans yet

No. Jagex don't do that, lol.

Chinese IP's are an extreme risk to be dealing with at current. Jagex banned 50K Chinese IP gold farmers a few weeks ago, and are still persisting with it. Avoid buying from them if you can.

 

Looks like its back to the dual arena for RWT.. well just untill jagex are baffled an try other avenue.

fyi the people on here who sell massive amounts of gold are chinese gold farmers
