Best way to protect myself from DDoS attacks?

I expect to be under heavy fire in a few weeks due to the market I'm going to be stepping into. What would be the best way to protect both a website and a server hosting 100+ people playing games? Any advice is appreciated :)

Edit: Attacks came early, just upgraded my current business Ram + adding cloudflare atm.

    Thanks for the reply :).

Cloudflare seems like a must. Apart from cloudflare what other steps can I take to protect myself ? Looking to apply all safety measures possible.
