Halo 2 N 3, Gears, guitar hero 2, and counter strike
They OVERALL best game created?
I'll order mine from best to worse, and put how many hours I've played them (estimated)
1. Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time (64) (played through them game and did everything 10+ times)
2. Guitar Hero (All of them) (ps2/360) (used to play 3 hours a day, now I'm down to about half an hour..so..easily 1000 hours.)
3. Golden Sun (gba) (I think my game time for both GS and GS:LA combined would be close to 200 hours)
4. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (snes) (easily 200 hours..I've played through the game on gba at least 40 times.)
5. Goldeneye:007 (n64) (too many to count. lots of weekends spent playing multiplayer with friends. (best MP game EVER)
Final fantasy 10 (or all of them really) was a close 5th.
Eww... neebs.
Here are some real epic games:
-Super Mario World
-Super Metroid
-Chrono Trigger
-Super Mario Kart
-Mario 64
-Zelda OOT (Majora's Mask = puke)
-Super Smash Bros. (NOT melee)
-Final Fantasy 7
-Tony Hawk 2
-Mario Party 3 (well... 3 stands out to me, but I'm indifferent)
-Metal Gear Solid
-Final Fantasy 10
-Grand Theft Auto 3 (first two were lame and the others are more of the same)
-Halo (the sequels are mediocre, stfu fanboys)
-Gears of War
-Tetris
-Pokemon Red/Blue
-Pac Man
-Doom
-DDR (although I'm not a fan)
-Unreal Tournament
-Half-life
-Half-life 2
Other than that, here are some games I like but aren't necessarily 'good':
-Odd World (both)
-Kingdom Hearts
-Xenogears
-FF Tactics
-Tekken 3
-EarthBound
-Golden Sun
-King's Quest 5
-SCUMM games like Sam and Max, Day of the Tenacle, Monkey Island, etc.
There are many good games I haven't played as well. And as for those who said Guitar Hero, I haven't played it, but it sure seems like a child of DDR... so I'm not sure how it could be that great.
And to those who said CS, note that you should say Half-life. CS is a very simple mod, even if it is fun.
But I guess that's just different opinions on what a "good game" is.
