Best type of pure?

Well im going back into RS and want to make a pure type, been gone a while so alot of new skills/pure types prob. Any recommendations to which types and why? i will be a member if that helps on pure ty

 

Since everyone either rushes, or spec then runs I would advise a pure with ice blitz and a KO weapon like maul or claws.

 

^ that being said, i recommend a good anti-rush based pure. can potentially get you the best loots, especially on high-risk worlds.

usually works best with ranging with taste vengeance, then as they rush you, use vengeance again and rather spec with a korasi/d bow/claws. depends what prayer they have on.

to anti-rush successfully you need to survive 2 specs withouts eating. this can be achieved sometimes with the combination of brewing over ur max hp prior to anti-rushing, and wearing a pheonix necklace. wear a recoil to, those extra hits add up.

2 x vengeance
1 x your special weapon
2 x recoil hits

it adds up. gl on getting some free claws and bandos

notes:
korasi requires 10 defence, alot of questing/skilling, but generally works the best for anti-rushing. not many people prayer magic while rushing.

anti-rushing with void would greatly increase your success ratio, but unless you got disruption shield, dont plan on keeping it very long, you have to risk alot to get anywhere.

 

I reccomend what obelisk said. But heres what you should do. Get like 80-99 range Zankis crossbow. Get someone to veng you and just as they claw spec you spec them with zaniks . Anti rushing is fun

 

That is genius. I wasn't sure where I was going with my mage pure but getting veng and killing rushers sounds like a great way to go.

 

I'd say AGS pures are my favzzz
hits amazingly high with high str ofc.
I also like dclaw rushers
You could get 60 att 80 str 50 hp and 31 pray and own

 

Personally, I think 60 attack 85+ str and 80+ range is best

 

Antirushers are sweet, I reccomend 40 defence/12 prayer/90 range/94 mage build, possibly cannoned/swed to like 70-80 hp. That would be 80- combat. <3
