Best Tablet Out ATM?

[don don don]

Looking to buy a tablet, for general use, what do you suggest?

Contenders are:

1) iPad 4 (no clue about iPad 5?)

2) Nexus 10 (Hear alot of good things about this one)

3) Asus Transformer

4) Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Opinions?

I've heard that the Galaxy has formidable features and definitely rivals the iPad. If I were you I would break it up into factors such as price and performance, but as a Mac user, I would go with the iPad for sure.

Edit: Whether it be the 4 or the 5, I think both are better than the tablets listed.

Nexus 10 and Xperia Z Tablet hands down.
Would personally go for the Nexus 10 due to stock android experience and faster updates as I develop for Android aswell.
Waiting for the upgraded Nexus 7 myself, should be announced tomorrow during the Google I/O.

Update? is there an update for nexus 10 as well?

Edit: also how is the microsoft surface?

I would buy the iPad 4, because I've bought many games and apps on different devices from Apple so I really don't want to buy them again if I would buy Nexus 10 for example. Also I guess that a few of them don't exist on Android.

Any clue when iPad 5 is coming out?

No sorry but I would guess it comes later this year.

Dude, Nexus 7 bro. All you need in life. Serious talk, it can do everything else, and it's cheap as fuck too.

are the specs of nexus 7 and nexus 10 same?

if so, why get the 7 over the 10? (Price not an issue)

They're essentially the same. Specs don't mean much after a dual core. They'll run everything smoothly, there's not much use for quad cores. If you really are keen on getting a tablet, get the Nexus 10 then, fuck the iPad, fuck the Asus. Also, I suggest you check out XDA Developers for Android development for the devices. Mod your device to the max, don't be a normal consumer who settles for whatever the company gives you.

All of the android ones are roughly similar, but definitely DON'T get an iPad... it can't do anything more than an iPhone, but you pay a ridiculous premium

OK so iPad is ruled out.

Now the questions is,

1) Nexus 10
or
2) Nexus 7

Inputs?

iPad 5 release is set for October.

They're both very good tablets . 7 inches is pretty small though.

I'd say the galaxy tab i currently have it and its pretty awesome

[Rsismyname]

Nexus 10 because of its specs and price + all the custom firmware you can run it which is something that can't be done on an Ipad.

I love my nexus 7, get it or the 10.... Depending on how big of a screen you want.

And if you can hold off on buying the tablet, a newer version of the nexus is supposed to be released in the near future (according to rumors)

Sweet thats awsome. Still debating to get the 7 or 10. But i guess we'll see with the new ones
