61 Range for rune knives, 1 def, 1 prayer, 50 attack+ 50 str (for the HP levels, or just SW your hp)

It's beast. I've made billions staking with those stats.

 

true but if your a pure there really arent any shields. except books of course.

THIS ISN'T going to be like 06' boys. This is almost 2011, stop moping over the old RS its not going to be the same. Kids like you will get slapped when you stake a phat only to lose it to a Dclaw rapier combo.

BTW the best staker account against pures was(this was oldschool):

70 attack - DDS to whip.
92 strength - 99 was to intimidating and 92 strength was only 1 hit away from max with whip at 99 strength.
57 def - Back in the day, that would be as high as you could go without being seen on the high scores. LOL, rhyming ftw?


Now it would be close to:

80 attack- Claws to chaotic
92 strength - Same reason.
60 defense- I believe this is the highest you can go now without being seen on the high scores.





So, many tactics these new kids don't know, they'll want to go oldschool while everyone with a brain knows that thats now possible anymore.

 

Now that you said that, I might be making a guide on how to get the riches off the newbies at staking.

We still got a good 3 months to go and it is possible to do what I have done

How much would you pay for a such staking guide (its not skill based but rather how to get people without cheating them (in a legal way))

True, I was just thinking about only old weapons, 80-70-60 with 99 HP would be a good combination then? Also I do hope they have a classic weapons option of some sort.

Also 62 is the highest you can go for defense.

Might be best to go for a free guide and ask for donations, but I'd probably price it at around $2.50, as it's not one of those guaranteed to work guides.

 

So, yeh 80-70-62 is the idea combo for going against pures. Depending on your combat.

Well when i staked i had 1 pray 91 str 99 attack 60 def and i did no armour dds/whip And i made a hell off alot off that.. 91`str is considered to be the same as 99 without armour and also you turn pray off so that reduces your cb alot but most people look you up and see if your prayer is ranked and if it's not they most likely wont fight you lol (N)

 

uh uh! This is "guaranteed" to work guide. How much guaranteed? You can stake with someone who is atleast 9 total levels below you in each skill (3 lower in attack, 3 lower in str and 3 lower in def) This total levels can be increased to 12.

The good thing is that people WILL stake you again and again till they loose all their money to you. They won't stop lol

They have slight chance of winning even after that (lucky hits, you lag, or you messed up) but it is guaranteed one still and of course not everyone can learn it.

 

Wait, explain that again? You're staking people lower combat?

I thought staking was generally always whip to dds no armor on and boxing. Why are you all going on about claws to rapier? Obviously claws are two handed. If somebody has a beast guide for sale I'd buy, as long you as you can guarantee it works and beat me in several friendly duels with what ever options. I'm interested in range staking mainly. Boxing doesn't seem too bad. I don't want to spend loads of time on dung, or even pay somebody to do it for me. I can soul wars my hp if needed, I don't see why that wouldn't be good. I want feedback from now a days. I don't care how you staked back then, I want to know what build would be good for now. I don't plan on keeping armor on unless it's a must. I will be able to use maxed shit if needed. I have the bank to buy items for armor on staking.

 

You got to realize people will do what you are doing. Bot to get their level or even match your levels if you are good. Only way is go there. Do small stakes or practice stakes and learn the tricks in timing, etc and make your account and stake style accordingly.

Is range staking with armor on would be better to use full statius over morrigan's because the defense against range is better than morrigan's range bonus? Also wouldn't it be best to use ranger boots as dragon boots gives no range def bonus?
