best range slayer method for 97-99 rng?

hey so i was wondering what i should do to get 97-99 range doing slayer once i hit 99 def?

i was thinking of buying a zaryte bow and just raping shit up with it lol with like full armadyl

note i dont have rigour/ccb

yea ive got some spare cash to buy zaryte and maybe 1 piece of pernix , would that be worth it or shud i jsut stick with armadyl/karils

Ye[ if you have the money go for it, or you can commit to gettting ccbow
if dung is out of the question even rune cbow isn't that bad if money is an issue
also cannoning is very effective

I wouldn't go with the pernix but zarythe and full armadyl plus cannon will work well.

Just cannon everything and melee, ranged is much worse dps than melee. If you're only in it for ranged xp, just chin.

well the thing is is that im working on 99 slayer so i dont wanna waste time chinning while i could just continue lvling slayer with zaryte bow + cannon.

im nearing 97 def so i will be startign range soon, im still using canon for every task i can melee + canon (when i can fight my slayer taks in multi)

just go chin it you can literally get 97-99 in less than a day!

but yeah thats probs be the best method, Z bow, Arma or pernix.

If you don't want to simply chin to 99 ranged, then you will be able to range most of your Slayer tasks. I would just go with a CCbow & Armadyl if you have it, rather than spend a ton of cash on a Zaryte bow. Make sure that you cannon every single cannonable task as well for optimal exp.

Training ranged with slayer is either very inadvisable or very worthwhile. It all depends in the tasks. The following are very good ranged exp tasks, averaging well over 100-150k/hr if you use a cannon and Zaryte with a steel Titan:

Daggannoth
Bloodveld
Greaters (in forintry dungeon)
Kalphite (in the DNE dungeon)
Hellhound (the Taverley resource dung)
Abyssal spectres

The following can be easily up to 100k/hr with Zaryte + cannon (single combat) or Zaryte + Steel Titan (multi-combat)
Nechryael
Black Demon
Black Dragon
Fire Giant
Dust Devil

Also, any Kuradal monster works well with Rune Darts (p), which are very cheap on the GE. The effect of the Ferocious Ring coupled with very fast hits adds a lot of extra damage per hour. Assuming all hits are landed, this adds up to 48k/hr EXTRA. In practice it adds about 30k/hr, ending up around 75-90k ranged xp/hr.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON A CCBOW. The cost per shot is huge; Zaryte, on the other hand, is only 17 gp/shot.

I'd highly advise getting rigour and a chaotic crossbow, especially rigour. If you don't want to spend lots use a Zaryte bow, it costs alot but it's like 20gp per shot.

If those are out of the question just stick with a rune cross and broad bolts with a slayer helm/focus sight. Arma isn't that important, black dragonhide is fine.

get like full armadyl with eagle eye kite chaotic crossbow gladden boots archers ring i full slayer helm you will get really fast xp

I'd definitely get 99 Range through Slayer. You may as well get the Slayer experience, and it's cheaper than Chinning. (Although a lot slower.)
